Today marks another historic milestone in our journey toward transforming Bihar's road infrastructure and regional connectivity. For many years, commuters and business owners across Samastipur, Darbhanga, Ujiarpur, and Patna faced severe traffic bottlenecks, narrow roads, and prolonged travel delays that hindered trade and daily movement. Today, under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Minister for Road Transport Shri Nitin Gadkari, we are laying the foundation stones and inaugurating world-class four-lane highway bypasses and bridge corridors constructed at an investment of thousands of crores. High-quality highway infrastructure is not just concrete and tar; it is the economic bloodstream of a developing society. When highways expand, farmers can transport perishable crops, dairy products, and agricultural yield directly to major city markets in Patna, Kolkata, and Delhi within hours without rotting in traffic. Small business owners, local manufacturers, and traders benefit from reduced freight costs and faster supply chains. Our government is committed to ensuring seamless connectivity across all 38 districts of Bihar. Under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, we are integrating road highways, railway freight corridors, and inland waterway routes across the Ganga to create a multi-modal transport network. The travel time between Samastipur and Patna has already been reduced significantly, and with these new bypass corridors, congestion within our towns will become a thing of the past. Modern roads also bring healthcare closer to our villages. Emergency ambulances can now reach specialized hospitals in Patna and Darbhanga quickly, saving precious lives during critical medical emergencies. I assure you that under our double-engine government, no project will face delays or budget hurdles.
